Young AFCEAN Last Friday Social:  The Armed Forces Communication and Electronic Association (AFCEA) Young members are hosting a Last Friday Happy Hour Social event at Zepplins, located inside the Scott AFB Event Center, on 30 Nov 2018 @1530.  This event offers an opportunity to meet and network with others who are or will become future leaders in industry, military, government and academia. This event is open to all members or perspective members of AFCEA under the age of 40 to include Officer, Enlisted, Civilian, and Contractors—the first 15 Young AFCEANs to sign-up and attend will have their food paid for. Young AFCEAN Happy Hour:  The Armed Forces Communication and Electronic Association (AFCEA) Young members are hosting a Happy Hour Social event at Global Brew Tap House, located at 455 Regency Park Dr B, O’Fallon, IL 62269, on 25 Oct 2018 from 1600 – 1800.  This event offers an opportunity to meet and work with others who are or will become future leaders in industry, military, government and academia. This event is open to all members or perspective members of AFCEA under the age of 40 to include Officer, Enlisted, Civilian, and Contractors—the first 15 Young AFCEANs to show up will receive their first drink for free. 2017 National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM)

The National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) occurs annually during October.  It’s a national initiative to promote cyber security awareness among the entire population not just cyber professionals.  This year’s NCSAM committee has put together a series of events to reach out to all segments of the community to include schools, colleges, and Scott AFB personnel (see attached flyer).

The Cyber Banquet on Thu, 26 Oct, highlights the month long series of events with General Darren McDew, USTRANSCOM/CC, as the guest speaker.
