AFCEA Mid-America Cyberspace Symposium

The AFCEA Mid-America Cyberspace Symposium is an event sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). This year’s robust agenda will support the theme “Securing The Enterprise” by addressing the hottest cyber related topics and how government and industry can work together to develop solutions to today's challenges. With accomplished government and industry speakers and the opportunity to network with hundreds of professionals, the Symposium will facilitate change by presenting new concepts and ideas and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Information Technology (IT).

The Scott-St. Louis Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is pleased to announce its annual call for scholarship/grant applications and outstanding teacher nominations. We're an active sponsor of higher education in hard sciences, mathematics, information technology, and engineering. As part of the national AFCEA organization we support a comprehensive program of scholarships promoting all-around academic excellence.

Brig. Gen. Mitch Butikofer, USAF, was the chapter’s April guest speaker and covered J-6 transformational challenges. Working closely with other directorates over the past nine months, the TCJ6 team ensured that the U.S. Transportation Command’s information technology, data and cybersecurity strategies were in lockstep with the command’s operational strategy.
